Tonia was born in Manchester, England is a dual citizen of Trinidad and Tobago and The United Kingdom. She attended Holy Name Convent and returned to London where she attained a Bachelor of Fine Art(BFA) from the prestigious Central St. Martin’s School of Art and Design (1990)and a Diploma in Art and Design from Middlesex University(1986). She has exhibited successfully in Washington, London, Mannheim Germany, Barbados and has had many solo exhibition in Port-Of Spain, Trinidad. She is known for her delicate expertise in paper based collage that highlight the warm and vibrant lifestyle of the Caribbean.
