Kathy-Ann is a daughter of the soil with a quiet and gentle spirit—an artist, wife, and mother whose creativity has long shaped her life. Her natural talent emerged early and was nurtured at Providence Girls’ Catholic School, where she earned a Grade 1 in Art at the CXC level. Working in oils with a rich impasto technique, Kathy-Ann uses textured layers that draw viewers into the depth and detail of each scene. In describing her latest body of work, she shares, “Through my paintings, I explore the landscapes and seascapes of Trinidad and Tobago — the hills, flora, shores and the sunlight that bathes my homeland.
